Tangat Whenua

Hi guys
In the past weeks, we have watched a video about Tangata Whenua, now I will write down what I learned for the video. The people that come to NZ, get food by hunting fishes, and Moas, so right now is no Moas alive, the Maori and Moriori are descended from the same people because they talk the same language, and they have same DNA,. The reason why that MOa came to be extinct, was because the Maori people eat them use bone for mack fish hokes and they use the feather to mack clothe, and they also eat them. Maori people choose to settle in the places, was because that, there are warm to grow crabs, and they protected them. For thousands of years, Maori people have traveled around the pacific island, and they were trying got o the USA, Maori people have lived in New Zealand for 5 thousand years.
This is all the information I know, this video was so fun to watch, but I don't remember what name is this video.

  1. Hi Harry
You have recalled lots of great information from the Tangata Whenua video. It would have been good if you'd reread this and fixed up your spelling errors so that is would have been easier to read. For example, you said the Maori people 'use bone for mack fish hokes'. You have also said that the Maori grew crabs! But it's meant to be crops. One final improvement would be to say that Maori have lived in New Zealand for over 800 years, not 5000 years.
    Keep working hard Harry.
