 The sea is my fried

Jane

Jane loved swimming. She loved to splash around in her swimming pool at home.

She liked the way the waves crashed against her legs.

Why did Jane think the sea was her friend at the beginning of the story?

Because she liked the way the waves crashed against her legs, She loved to splash around in her swimming pool at home.

Draw a map of the setting showing where the action happened. Don’t know

I am your friend

A soul from your soul

A place for your life

Home

Know this

Sun or water

Here

Or

Away

We are a lighthouse

We leave

And we stay\

The reason why I think this is the main part was that it the start of the story it says Jane loves swimming and loves the ocean, then her dad gives her a rubber raft for her birthday gift, and then the sun has gone behind the cloud.

Jane, dad

The sun had gone behind a cloud and the wind is blowing, she looked over her shoulder, the beach was a long way away

Happy when she got a new rubber raft

Worried when she can’t see the beach

Safely back on the beach. Jane turned her back to the sea. That was enough for today.
